Instructions
1. MAKE A BLOG POST FOR YOUR 5 TOP IMAGES
Choose your 5 best images you took from the semester and create a new blog post. Add a detailed paragraph (3-5 sentences) about why you feel they are your best images and how they showcase the skills you have gained as a photographer.
Make sure you size your images to 1080px on the short side and rename it with your name. Example: JakeSpencer-Tetons.
2. FACEBOOK CRITIQUE
Choose the image you want to use for your Fine Art Print and post it in the class FB group – Photos – Albums – Fine Art Print Critique. (You may add two images if you only have it narrowed down to your top two). This is where you will get final approval from your instructor. DO NOT PRINT without approval! If you have specific questions please PM your instructor!
3. MAKE A BLOG POST FOR THE CONTESTS YOU ENTER WITH YOUR TOP IMAGES
1. Choose a contest (options below) and enter at least two of your images from this semester before the deadline. Edit it as needed to fit the contest theme and requirements.
2. Create a new blog post about your contest entry.
a. Post any images that you submitted in the contest
b. Include a paragraph or two about how you created your entry.
c. Add a paragraph about the contest you chose and why you chose it.
d. Add a link to the contest website.
e. Include the date you submitted your entry.

OPTION 4: YELLOWSTONE SYMPOSIUM:

Each student will submit three images and write a 200-essay. The images represented their best work according this criteria:
VARIETY
— SKILL LEVEL —
CREATIVITY. In the essay please address the following questions:
1. Why you want to attend
2. What you can add to the group
3. How it will benefit you in the future.

Nikon Annual College Photo Contest:
Here is the information about the Annual College photo contest. $4,000 in grants awarded! PLUS 1 Nikon D7000 camera and lens system. Early deadline, submitted before October 17, 2011. Paste the link to your TOP 5 blog post in the WEB URL tab under the submission box on iLearn Canvas.
Paste the link to your CONTEST blog post in the comments section of the same submission box on iLearn Canvas.
DOUBLE CHECK your submission to make sure BOTH links were submitted.
Do not submit until everything is complete. Once you submit, be sure NOT to change anything on your post, until after it is graded. Follow the Submission Instructions.
